PINK RAGE

No, it's not the name of a new nail-polish! It's what came up for me when I was doing these little 10-minute drawings (as suggested to me by this airy-fairy book on creativity that I'm currently reading).

My therapist (Remember him? Therapy Thursdays and all that) said... ahh, well, let's just say... Rage came up at our last session.

My therapist is sick of me whining about art and money and thinks that I need to go out there and find ways to show my art and sell it instead of just complaining all the time.

Sitting there and actually DOING it, even just these angry scribbles (which feel extremely therapeutic) for more than 10 minutes at a time is a challenge to me.

But:

It is progess.

Getting out there and 'just doing it' sounds like an ad campaign, but still very good advice to me. Airy-fairiness aside (why are so many creativity books like that? Do they think we're simple? ;) forcing yourself to work is good exercise. Or so they tell me.

Rage ... not an emotion that I have much experience with. Don't know if that's good or bad. Interesting that this is what your 10 minute drawings look like though.
BTW ... is your airy-fairy book called Art Escape? You are making me think about Art again Albert, maybe I'll pull out some of my books and do a few exercises in creativity.
You inspire me, my Artsy friend, always have always will. Smooches!
