Hey kids: I know you all have nothing better to do with your precious time than keeping up with another blog, so I wanted to let you know that I'm trying this experiment of keeping a separate blog about my artwork, hoping it will inspire me to keep showing it and making progress towards selling it.

Here's the link: GlinkArt4Sale

More Swiss Guard

Hey all y'all, thanks for the encouragement on the artwork!!! :-)

I picked up the paintbrushes yesterday at home to try and make further progress on this painting. I actually did some glazes in an attempt to make the flesh look more human. (It was looking cadaverous previously because I was following Rembrandt's greenish pallette.) I have way more to do on it and the critique is tomorrow, so I'm going to try and paint for much of today.

I am getting super-frustrated with my lack of tech capabilities. I would really like to get a digital camera and some broadband service; I'm still on dial-up!
I am getting to the point where I am realizing that as a visual and performing artist, it is absurd not to have these things that almost every middle-class person in America has.

hope you all are well,
your "San Francisco Values" pal,

Still Alive!

Smart Queens know not to go out to the Castro on the actual day of Halloween. Jesus! Some jerks shot at each other, 7-10 injured. Thank God no one was killed!

Anyway, in way more important blogging newz: I took this pic in my bathroom mirror when I got home on Saturday. I can't believe how GLAM I still look, considering how bedraggled I actually felt after traipsing around all over Creation for hours!

I amuse myself. (I'm glad you amuse SOMEONE, Glinka darling...)
